Before picking this home, I looked at several in SF and fell instantly in love with this one. It accommodated my family very well - definitely made their stay feel much more homey than other homes or hotels could have. View from the rooms is also breathtaking! Pamela was very responsive to our inquiries and needs. Parking might be a challenge but it adds to the SF experience.

We had a great time in SF and stayed at this home June 2012 for a week. Downey is a quiet street but extremely close to many restaurants, shops, and 3 parks. Easy to catch the bus at Frederick (6) and get to Market Street or the Wharf. Cha Cha Cha is a great restaurant down the street and worth a try. Off The Grid offers some great choices of the SF street car food. Pamela was very good to deal with and the house was in great shape. We had plenty of room for our family and friends who came in town. Terrific views, comfortable beds, great remodel, and ideal location. Bacon Bacon is another small restaurant down the street, and worth a visit too. We hit it daily for the Bacon Bouquet which is amazing too. I'd highly recommend this house for your future trip. I own/manage vacation rentals in Park City, Utah and can appreciate a nice home that is well kept. Thanks Pam! Jim B

This is a beautiful San Francisco property one block up from Polk and one block down from Hyde St. Very well-kept and BEAUTIFULLY decorated, complete with high end luxury towels and linens! The owner answered email queries promptly and efficiently. She met us at the property, showed us the parking space around the corner and took the time to show us the unit and go over the 'Welcome Book' . She even had a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne in the refrigerator with a nice card as she recalled in my initial email that this was a surprise visit for my girlfriend and for our anniversary! Talk about five-star service...WOW! We had our dog with so appreciated having a yard in the back of the building. The grocery store is just a block away, tons of of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance .It was very comfortable for me and my girlfriend. Don't miss this gem, you will not be sorry!

The description of this apartment is spot on! It is located in a secure building on a quiet street (Larkin). The apartment has a very comfortable queen bed and the air mattress was also comfortable for my two sons. The kitchen is nicely furnished, although we only ate breakfast each morning. Pamela met us and directed us to the secure parking garage. (Located just around the corner from the apartment) She even helped us carry a few things up to the apartment! She spent time showing us around the apartment, and how to use things in the apartment, such as the computer/tv/etc. The apartment is located one block from the cable cars, and a 1/2 block from a bus stop. The public transportation in SF is awesome...easy to use and understand. We did have a car, but only used it when we went down to the marina area and muir woods. We will surely use this apartment when we visit SF in the future! A big thank you to Pamela for all the extras that you do for your guests!

We would definitely stay here again! The owner was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The condo itself had everything we needed, was close to great coffee shops and breakfast, as well as to the off street parking. The decor reminded us of Candace Olsen's designs which are a nice blend of contemporary and traditional and that made the space very inviting. The pictures are very accurate and if anything the place is more spacious than the pictures show. We had considered staying at a boutique hotel for this trip, but felt we made the perfect choice in this VRBO. It was our first time in a VRBO as well and we can only hope all future ones live up to this property.
